Mrs. Winner has served as faculty for the International Association of Pastel Societies in Albuquerque and Santa Fe, the Portrait Society of America in Washington, DC, Boston, and Dallas, American Artist Magazine Art Methods and Materials in Pasadena, Richeson School of Art and Gallery, Wisconsin, Pearl Paint—NYC, Learning and Product Expo Chicago, North American Art Event by Holbein in Vermont, the Pearl Paint Great American Art Event in New York City, Amelia Island Art Workshops, Fernandina Beach, Florida, Jerry's Art of the Carolinas in North Carolina and various art centers, museums, and galleries in NC, SC, and VA. She is continues her work as North Carolina Ambassador for the Portrait Society of America, Literature Chairman, and a member of their international portfolio review committee and acting as mentor for the new Cecilia Beaux Forum mentorship program.  Luana is 2010 President of the Pastel Society of North Carolina. Her articles have appeared in International Artist Magazine, The Artist, the Art of the Portrait, Signature, Strathmore’s on-line Magazine, and other periodicals. Luana is author of four workbooks, numerous papers, and 20 instructional DVD’s.
